What's the role?

The Campaign Manager will own the creation, management, and delivery of all marketing campaign plans, which will include a multi-channel approach. Typical activity in an SMS marketing campaign will include, but is not limited to, PR, sales collateral, digital campaigns, industry events, promotional merchandise etc. You will be expected to report the success and ROI of relevant activity to Senior stakeholders, ultimately advising on the activity Vs alignment with sales strategies. 
 
You will be part of the Group Marketing team, led by the Head of Marketing, which holds a mix of expertise meaning support is always on hand to help you deliver your goals. Your role is to manage the end-to end requirements of a multi-channel campaign, but you will have support from the wider team who are already responsible for providing certain elements such as content creation e.g. editorial and collateral, and the execution of paid digital campaigns (typically focusing on Google and LinkedIn). On top of this in-house resource, there are also onboarded agencies to support in the creation and delivery of creative and digital activity.  
The role is accountable for the planning, development, execution and reporting of all marketing activity that cumulatively accounts for a multi-channel marketing campaign, to support the business meeting increased pipeline ambitions. You will need to demonstrate managerial experience of high-profile campaigns, be able to advise on best practice and efficiencies, have proven event management experience and confidently collate all requirements of the necessary Marketing activity, within a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Work Schedule - Hybrid working Monday to Friday.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute required marketing campaign plans. This will include a full marketing mix skillset of both offline and online activity
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously 
  • To be informed by, and considerate of, Group strategy and initiatives and consider their impact on current plan i.e., whilst currently predominantly B2B, you may be required to map out B2C strategy in the future
  • Work closely with business development teams, enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with the appropriate marketing support, tools, and collateral
  • Maximise both organic and paid digital marketing potential with cross-channel collaboration i.e., website traffic, Google, social media, emails etc. 
  • Brief members of the in-house team who may support in content/ campaign creation, as well as external agency support you will likely leverage to maximise output
  • Maintain and communicate detailed reports on dedicated campaigns with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the marketing activity

 

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Marketing qualification (Degree or CIM recognised, or equivalent) preferable
  • Proven, relevant experience 
  • Experience in managing high-profile campaigns:- Proof of innovative and creative campaigns with demonstrable output/effectiveness
  • Experience in working for a business with mixed services as this role will require a strategic rationale when balancing specific industry messaging Vs Group plc position
  • Experience of agency creative briefing for a variety of medias, including but not limited to; collateral, website, videos, social media 
  • Budget management experience
