What's the role?

As I&C Electric Field Engineer you will be reporting to the Field Metering Manager.  You will be filed based for this role and working 40 hour per week.  

On top of your salary you can earn £4,800 Health & Safety based bonus, plus London Weighting where applicable.


Key responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of low voltage Code of Practice meters.
  • SMETS 2 and AMR variants 
  • Other related duties as required by the metering department.
  • Carry out communication testing for metering and loggers.
  • Interaction and liaison with the delivery support team.
  • Maintain safety standards and follow working procedures.
  • Control and manage stock.


To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent electrical
  • GCSE standard or equivalent 
  • 3 phase metering experience (essential)
  • Full driving license
  • Recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or metering training
  • Previous industry experience
  • Good on-site customer interaction experience
