What's the role?
As I&C Electric Field Engineer you will be reporting to the Field Metering Manager, this position is within the Half Hourly High Accuracy Metering division as well as 3 Phase authorised. You will be field based for this role to cover MPAN 15 and contractual 40 hours per week.
From £30,013 DOE plus £4,800 bonus & London weighting where applicable plus excellent benefits in the following postcodes in DH, DL, NE, SR, TS, E, EC, IG, N, NW, SE, SW, W and WC
Key responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of low voltage Code of Practice meters.
- SMETS 2 and AMR variants
- Other related duties as required by the metering department.
- Carry out communication testing for metering and loggers.
- Interaction and liaison with the delivery support team.
- Maintain safety standards and follow working procedures.
- Control and manage stock.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- CT 3 Phase Whole (essential)
- City and Guilds or equivalent electrical
- GCSE standard or equivalent
- Full driving license
- Recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship or metering training
- Previous industry experience
- Good on-site customer interaction experience
