What's the role?

The PI Stock Administrator is responsible for ensuring PI checks are run and completed within the Hoyland warehouse. This role will require good communication skills as you will be close working with the warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate PI checks which include; reporting, day to day maintenance of relevant systems and raising of documentation and reports to allow efficient processing.

The role also includes communication to other departments, chasing up counts, reporting any anomalies and liaising closely with the warehouse team in ensuring they are working to schedule. This could include supporting the warehouse with physical checks, completing re checks & supporting the wider stock team with any other tasks as and when required.

Work Schedule - Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week. Shift pattern: 06:00-14:30 / 08:00-16:30

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Warehouse Team in ensuring the full process is adhered to from start to finish. 
  • To update and maintain relevant systems & spreadsheets relating to PI process.
  • To maintain high standards of data input, adjustments and reporting to enable system integrity 
  • To take initiative and comfortably respond to any queries, escalating if necessary, working closely with others and using own initiative. 
  • Liaising daily with the Glasgow and Hoyland departments
  • To assist the Stock Team Leader in carry out stock checks, working with the warehouse team, in ensuring all data is collated and passed on accordingly.
  • To complete ad-hoc duties that supports both the function and the business as and when requested
  • Reporting to and working with the stock team to ensure physical stockholding across all SMS locations is accurately reflected within the stock system.
  • To maintain high standards of data accuracy in relation to stock adjustments and stock allocation. 
  • To take initiative and comfortably respond to any queries, working closely with other members of the stock team to resolve, and escalating if necessary
  • To complete ad-hoc duties that supports both the function and the business as and when requested
  • To step up in to any role to cover any holiday cover, sickness if required  

 

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

 

  • Previous experience in Stock Control, Warehousing and /or Logistics
  • Knowledge of Stock/Admin/ skills within a Warehouse environment
  • Ability to work with others and on own initiative.
  • Strong Microsoft and excel skills
  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment without sacrificing quality or breaching H&S Rules and Regulations
