Job Overview 
 
This role sits within a team of Settlements Coordinators working in the Electricity Data department and reporting into a Team Manager.  
 
The Settlements Coordinator is required to manage the processing of Industry standard data flows and associated processes and reports, as well as manage and resolve exceptions and regularly report on their progress. This will be alongside various other duties such as liaison with third Parties and the provision of internal and external reports. 
 
This role is essential in maintaining SMS’s compliance to Industry standards and upholding a high quality of service to our customers.   
 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
  • To work alongside team members to provide an efficient, high-value Data Services business
  • To work closely with clients and energy suppliers providing technical and administrative support 
  • To review exceptions and provide solutions to ensure the timely and accurate provision of data flows according to industry standard SLAs and Customer contractual obligations
  • Provision of internal and external reports demonstrating performance, exceptions and resolutions 
  • Build and maintain relationships with SMS’s customers and third-party agents to ensure the best quality data is held within industry 
  • Work with technical team to implement changes in systems and processes in line with SMS’s culture of continuous improvements 
  • Any other duties required by the Team Manager 
 
 
Education and Professional Qualifications 
 
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English 
 
 
Skills and Knowledge
 
  • Proficient in the Use of Microsoft office packages
  • Excellent numerical reasoning and problem solving 
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload 
  • Electricity Metering Industry and/or Data Industry Knowledge desirable
  • IT skills
