What's the role?

Your role will encompass all personnel related matters, customer management including reporting and the setting and monitoring of team/individual targets.  
As well as having responsibility to ensure financial targets are achieved the role also requires an awareness of technical related issues, both internal 
and external factors to further develop the business. 

Performance will be achieved by providing clear guidance to team members on their expectations. 
Plans will be developed and implemented to ensure individual and team expectations are achieved. 
As well as strong performance management capability, the Team Manager will also look to continually develop your team.

You will work closely with other Metering & Data teams, the Team Manager is key to ensuring a continuous improvement ethos is adopted. 
You will facilitate all necessary training and support to all Team personnel.

Shift pattern is 9am - 5pm. Monday to Friday.
 

Key responsibilities:

•Manage overall day-to-day operations of the Team; work allocation, change/process implementation & meetings
•Awareness of P&L activity for Team; assistance in maximising profit with business area through awareness of sales and cost reduction opportunities
•Responsible for Customer Management Inc. complaints and report handling
•Responsible for regular management reporting to the management team to demonstrate productivity and performance delivering as minimum to industry compliance 
•Proactively seek opportunities to increase operational effectiveness
•Responsible for client reporting and attending client led meetings 
•The encouragement and building of interdepartmental working relationships

Essential
•Motivating teams and performance management
•Strong Customer relationship management 
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages (especially Excel)
•Excellent numerical reasoning and problem solving
•Able to organise and prioritise workload

•Settlement Industry knowledge
