What's the role?

The SHEQ Systems Coordinator will report to the SHEQ Systems Manager and work as a key member of the SHEQ team. You will ensure that SHEQ related systems and reporting are delivered to meet the needs of the SHEQ function and wider business.

The SHEQ Systems Coordinator role is critical to the overall success of the SHEQ team and of the wider business, ensuring that systems, performance information and support is accurate and available. This position will involve coordination and engagement with the full range of functions across the business, and with clients, contractors, accreditation auditors and regulators where required.

The role will require travel across the UK to meet business needs as necessary. The position provides an opportunity for you to develop, implement and improve a wide range of SHEQ systems and reporting across the business and gain experience of wider SHEQ related activities.

Shift pattern is hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 15:45pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain and improve SHEQ Systems.
  • Review and update SHEQ related processes, procedures and management system documentation.
  • Delivery of timely and accurate performance metrics and reports.
  • Providing cover for wider SHEQ team as required.
  • Support the development and implementation of SHEQ Systems improvement plan.
  • Ensure SHEQ reporting and KPI requirements are documented, and reporting information is accurate and delivered to agreed timelines.
  • Develop effective working relationships with the SHEQ team members and internal/external stakeholders.

 

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Project Management Qualification - Essential.
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English).
  • Experience in working with SHEQ Systems including EQMS, Microsoft Power BI / Power Automate/ Power Apps, iAuditor, Nimble, Microsoft Office including SharePoint etc.
  • Experience in working with relevant programming languages e.g. DAX, SQL, Python
  • Experience of working with frequency rates and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in writing / reviewing SHEQ management system documentation / reports /communications.
  • Audit, inspection and risk assessment experience.
  • Agile Project Management Qualification - Desirable.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent - Desirable.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent or working towards this qualification - Desirable.
