What's the role?

 

As our Warehouse Operative you will be reporting to the Assets manager and Goods in PI senior operative, you will be integral to the management of the stock within the Hoyland warehouse.
You will count and check pallet storage locations to insure; Pallet label, location and quantity are all correct to the D365 stock system. This will be part of the perpetual inventory process and will be key to developing Hoyland to be “best in class”.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Asset managers, that a complete 13 week rolling PI check is carried out on all warehouse locations.
  • General warehouse and admin tasks including but not limited to; Sorting, checking, scanning - using a handheld device in accordance with the WMS, processing items and information. (Also, to have flexibility to cross over different areas/tasks if needed).
  • Assisting the Asset Manager and PI Senior Operative with the day-to-day inventory activity, including, but not limited to goods in, stock checks, re checks, full scans and counts.
  • Assisting the assets manager and Goods in Senior to ensure all daily tasks are fulfilled on time in accordance with daily planned schedule and all required information is passed back to the relevant team(s). 
  • Assisting with Stock Takes organised and managed by the assets team, ensuring the warehouse is physically touched which includes scanning, counting, checking etc.  
  • Ensuring stock is put away systematically and physically in the Warehouse location(s) with an HPT or FLT (if trained) in accordance with warehouse processes, when issues are found within the PI checks.
  • Ensuring any inbound ASN’s are uploaded and LP’s produced in time to receive deliveries.

 

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

 

  • Experience of Previous Warehousing skills. 
  • Hands on/strong approach.
  • Ability to follow correct policies, procedures, and standards at all times, along with being able to follow instructions.
  • Experience of using scanners in accordance with WMS.
  • Experience of stock control counting and investigations
  • Experience of D365
  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment without sacrificing quality or breaching H&S Rules and Regulations.
